Arché-Porto

Arché is a space for development and creative thinking, which aims to provide tools and moments of reflection and training for the creation of new film projects, as well as offering a space for international professional agents to meet in an environment of great sharing.

In the context of Porto/Post/Doc, over the course of 6 days, Arché will host 5 film projects in a project development workshop with internationally renowned tutors before a presentation of the projects to an international jury, which will award prizes to one of the projects.

Arché is exclusively dedicated to authors from Ibermedia Programme member countries, namely Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.

WORKSHOPS

Arché's workshops are aimed at deepening the thematic and reflecting on the strategies to be implemented in the film. The programme offers a working and training space, tailored to the specific needs of each project.
pitching

PROJECT PRESENTATION SESSIONS

An opportunity to present the projects to a wide professional audience: producers, distributors, sales agents, programme-makers and other international industry players present at Porto/Post/Doc.

TUTORS

In 2025, Arché-Porto will take place from 21 to 25 November, with a public presentation on 26 November. The project development workshop will have renowned tutors from the film industry, to be announced shortly.
