Submissions
Applications are now open from May 15 to July 15 (11:59 p.m. GMT+1) for participation in Arché as part of the Porto/Post/Doc film festival, which will take place in the city of Porto from November 19 to 28, 2026. Applicants must read the Arché at Porto/Post/Doc Regulations before submitting their applications. Applications that do not meet the established requirements will not be considered. The data and materials submitted as part of the application process will be treated confidentially by the organization and used exclusively for the purposes of evaluation, selection, and program management.
To submit a project, applicants must complete the Arché online form, where they must submit the following documentation
1. Project dossier, in PDF format, up to 8 pages, containing the following in Portuguese, Spanish, or English:
- title;
- extended synopsis;
- director’s statement, with references to the visual treatment;
- note on the project’s current stage of development and current needs;
- project statement of intent, including notes on the proposal’s relevance;
- biographical notes on the director, the producer (if applicable), and the production company (if applicable);
- link to work-in-progress or rushes, subtitled in English, Portuguese, or Spanish when spoken in other languages (if applicable);
- links to previous works (if applicable).
2. Between 2 and 5 stills or visual references.
3. Summary of the project’s estimated budget and financial breakdown (including any confirmed funding, if applicable).
4. Letter of Motivation (for participation in Arché Porto, highlighting which aspects of the project you would like to work on).
