Submissions

Submissions open from April 1 to April 30 (11:59 PM GMT+1). Applicants must read the Arché Regulations before submitting their applications.

Submissions that do not meet the stated requirements will not be considered. All submitted data and materials will be kept confidential within the organization.

1.Project submissions must be made through the Eventival platform and should include the following documentation:

  • project folder, in PDF format, up to 8 pages, written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, including:
  • title;
  • synopsis;
  • director’s statement, including references to the visual approach;
  • note on the current stage of development of the project and its current needs;
  •  statement of intent for the project;
  • biographical note of the director, producer (if applicable), and production company (if applicable);
  •  links to previous works (if applicable);
  • in the case of projects presented as a  rough cut or that are still in the editing stage, a link to the work-in-progress, subtitled in English, or filmed material; all submitted filmed materials must include subtitles in English, Portuguese, or Spanish if not spoken in one of these three languages. In case of selection, participants with work-in-progress projects must provide a version subtitled in English.

2.Two to five stills or visual references;

3.Estimated project budget and financing plan, including details of any confirmed funding, if applicable;

4.Motivation letter outlining the applicant’s interest in participating in Arché and specifying which aspects of the project they wish to develop.
