Jury and Awards

John is a filmmaker, musician and writer. He has made a dozen short films and six features. His work fictionalizes and reworks found documentations of love, family relations, and memory in relation to current events, hearsays, myth, and folklore.

Leonor Noivo grew up in Macau in the 80s. In Lisbon she studied Photography and Cinema –at ESTC in 2004 and Ateliers Varan in 2006. She’s co-founder of Terratreme Films, where she develops her projects and collaborates with others at every stage of the creative process.

Tyler Wilson is a Senior Programmer at Film at Lincoln Center, where he co-programs new releases and serves on the selection committees for New Directors/New Films and the Currents section of the New York Film Festival. He has co-organized numerous repertory programs, including International Melodrama (2017) and Mexican Popular Cinema, 1940–60s (2024), as well as retrospectives of Jane Campion (2017), Jacques Tourneur (2018), Agnès Varda (2019), Wong Kar Wai (2020), Kinuyo Tanaka (2022), Dario Argento (2022), Tod Browning (2023), Edward Yang (2023), and M. Night Shyamalan (2025).

Includes the acquisition, for a period of 10 years, of the television broadcast rights for the award-winning film in Portugal and in the Portuguese-speaking African countries (PALOP), with unlimited screenings on the RTP and RTP África channels.

A €2,000 prize for projects in development and in the editing phase.

The DMIX Collective Prize is worth €4,000 and covers sound post-production or color correction services for a short film or a feature film currently in the editing phase
