Jury and Awards

Founded Zeitun Films in 2009 with Oliver Laxe. He has produced films by Laxe, Eloy Enciso, Alberto Garcia, Lois Patiño, Enrique Rivero, Feyrouz Serhal, Eliane Raheb e Eloy Domínguez Serén. These films have been screened and awarded in festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Locarno, Toronto, Rotterdam, among others.

Visual artist and programmer, she has been exhibiting in Portugal and abroad since 2001. Graduated in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto, she was the programmer of the independent space PêSSEGOpráSEMANA (2002-2007). She was selected for the EDP New Artists Award 2007 and in 2005 for the exhibition "7 artists at the 10th month" at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. She managed, with Manuel Mesquita, the artistic residencies programme Moinho da Fonte Santa (2013-2018) and is responsible, with Susana Gaudêncio, for the project Pessoa Colectiva.

She graduated in Communication Sciences, with a post-graduate degree in Emerging Cultures and Discourses from FCSH/NOVA. A journalist and critic, she published regularly in the specialised press between 1996 and 2010. She is the author of the biography Olga Roriz (2007) and the monograph O Essencial sobre a Companhia Nacional de Bailado (2017). She has worked at Direção-Geral das Artes (2004-2015), at Direção Municipal de Cultura da Câmara Municipal do Porto (2016-2019) and, since March 2020, she chairs the Direction of Coliseu Porto Ageas.

Arché Jury will deliver the Companhia das Culturas/ Fundação Pereira Monteiro Award, an artistic residency in 2023 in Companhia das Culturas, in Castro Marim.
