Traces of the Trabant

Reyna experienced the last years of the late German Democratic Republic (GDR) working there in a car-factory. After the wall was torn down she returned to Cuba conserving old and happy memories in her photo album. 33 years later she goes back in time with projected archival material from the old factory and letters of her best friends and colleagues from Germany. An experimental reflection on a radical system change, the decline of the working class and the foreign gaze on the unification of two countries.
