Arché Porto/Post/Doc

Arché is a space for thinking and creative development, intending to provide tools and moments of reflection and training to new film projects, as well as a platform of contact with international agents of the film industry in an atmosphere of an in-depth work.

In the context of Porto/Post/Doc, Arché welcomes 4 projects in a four-days projects development workshop and a pitching session, open to a professional audience and an international jury that will award a prize to one of the projects. Open to projects from Portugal, Spain and Latin America, it pays special attention to works from Northern Portugal and its border regions, especially Galicia.

Submissions for the 2022 edition are open from August 5th to September 5th. For more information, visit the submissions page.

Workshop

Arché workshops aim at providing projects the necessary tools to explore the subjects, to reflect upon narrative strategies and include the viewing of footage and/or working versions in the case of projects in the editing stage or first cuts.

Pitching

Participants pitch their projects in 10 minutes presentations to industry guests. Producers, programmers, sales agents and other professionals attending Porto/Post/Doc will be invited.

In 2022, Porto/Post/Doc Film Festival will take place between November 16th and 26rd, and Arché between the 18th and the 22nd. The project development workshop will be tutored by Andrés Duque (Spain).
