Bocaina

A century-old legend guides the history of Diamantina and the mountain that surrounds it in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is said that, in the 18th century, dozens of men died mysteriously after starting to extract diamonds in the region, leading to the end of the activity for more than 300 years. Now the myth is fading away, and the mines are open again, but the elderly residents decide to leave town, foreseeing that a violent tragedy is on its way.
