“Too Visible Cities” explores how a great variety of digital maps intersect, overlap and dictate how both inhabitants and travelers navigate and experience the city of Oporto. Crossing influences of social realism, fable and sci-fi aesthetics, we question how digital platforms, apps and social media exert their constant influence on and impose changes to the city’s actual geography, the lives of the inhabitants and their personal and professional relationships.
